Pregnancy, Labor, & Birth Support

Hi, I’m Moss!
I’ve been supporting people through their birth experiences since 2019. I’m really passionate about helping people carve out the time, space, and information they need to maintain autonomy throughout their labor and birth experience. My practice is grounded in taking time to build trust and relationships with my clients, and customizing support to show up in the ways that work best for them.

I’ve supported clients and friends with a wide variety of needs and desires, and in a range of different contexts- from hospital to home. I love working with clients of all genders, neurotypes, and family shapes & sizes. I see the ways that the medical industrial complex systemically treats and mistreats people through racist, classist, and ableist policies and provider behaviors. It’s my fundamental goal and value to understand deeply my clients’ individual needs and priorities, and to work together to navigate the birth experience while keeping their safety and wellbeing at the center.

Working as a co-doula team

I work best with a co-doula team! Working with a doula duo means that you receive support from two doulas throughout your pregnancy and birth preparations, building trust and relationships with both birth workers. This means that you get to tap the knowledge and support skills of two people with different life-experiences and availabilities throughout your pregnancy. If your birth experience is long, your co-doula team will be able to relieve one another so you’re never left without skilled, trusted support. In the event of one doula being unavailable for your birth due to illness or emergency, you will have the support of someone you already know and trust.

I have a trusted few birth workers I love to co-doula with, and I would love to introduce you!
